FAQS about the RCC
A page for frequently asked questions about the RCC.
This is a general question we encounter a lot. After all, we do share the same website entity and there is some cross-pollination among our projects. That said, the RCC and PV are two different coalitions. As explained in the RCC About Us pages, the Rutland Community Collaborative is a coalition of executive-level leadership from healthcare providers that strives to improve the Rutland region's health services. In other words, the RCC is developed by and for our region's health service professionals.
Project VISION, on the otherhand, is a community-based coalition that addresses underlying determinants of physical, social, and community health. The wide ranging focus of PV is reflected in its membership, which consists of a host of professionals from numerous different disciplines and active community members alike.
Ultimately, both the RCC and PV have similar goals of improving the Rutland region's quality of life, but their immediate methods of reaching that goal involve different strategies. Though, there are ample opportunities for collaborative projects among the two coalitions and there is a definitive need to maintain open avenues of communication.
