We are calling this event: ‘Neighbor Reach’

February 16, 2016

To Individuals, Organizations and Agencies of Rutland County:

A network of county churches are joining together to serve the residents, organizations and agencies in the Rutland area on Saturday, April 30th of this year. We hope to mobilize around 200 volunteers of various skill levels to meet the felt needs of our communities.

We are calling this event, as well as possible future ones, ‘Neighbor Reach’. For safety reasons, we are looking for ‘on the ground’ projects that could be accomplished between 9:00 am to 5:00 pm so that all our volunteers remain occupied the whole day.

Do you or someone you know have a practical need that could be met by two, three or a whole team of people? Consider your friends, family, neighbors, the elderly, military families or anyone else that could use a helping hand for a day.

The jobs could include, but not be limited to, first-floor window cleaning, spring cleaning, yard work and minor repairs. We will review all the requests that come in on a first-come basis and work with you to see them through. In order to prepare properly, please contact us as soon as possible by calling Roadside Chapel at 775-5805 or email us at .

We believe that it is better to give than to receive and we hope to hear from you soon.
